we are pretty excited about our placement in Constructor Magazine’s Hottest 80
websites of 2001. Why? As a young company celebrating our second
anniversary in April, it’s a big honor to be noticed. Yet, as humble as we
are, we can understand why.
We have
accomplished a lot in a short amount of time.
We have 6,000 User Sessions per week, and 23,000 Users who provide 60,000
hits a week to constructionbidding.com.
We are happy with those numbers and hope to expand our clientele and
gain more coverage in 2002. With what
we have accomplished so far, we will have no problem achieving our goals.
We use technology
that enables bidders (General Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors and
Suppliers) to view project documents on-line.
We have found—much to the surprise of a great many owners— that their
most reliable and competitive bidders are already using the site, because it
enables them to bid at their convenience.
Our service is
two-fold: First, we provide Project Sponsors (such as Owners, General
Contractors, Construction Managers) to take project documents and place them on
the Internet in a protected environment to make those documents available to
project bidders (as mentioned above). Second, we enable bidders to view,
download and print document information with the click of a button. There are
many additional “perks” to the Sponsor in using a system like ours, such as
instant communication tools and data mining.
