Using state-of-the-art scanning technology, it allows plans, specs and addenda to be viewed and plotted by all bidders in an efficient time frame. All documents are scanned into a .tiff format, which require no downloads or expensive upgrades. This site is free to all contractors and is available to anyone with Internet access.

Our website reduces reimbursable costs from architects enabling each project to be less costly and more efficient. The method of collecting, processing and returning deposit checks for documents is eliminated. Documents can be routed to constructionbidding.com in a seamless manner, minimizing the volume of traditional document reproduction. These benefits are passed to the project decreasing document distribution charges.

During creation of the project, we work with your staff to assist them in gaining an overall understanding of the system and it’s functions. You are provided with user manuals and training on enabling project security, establishing communication with project team members and identifying bidders and their history of activity per project. In addition, instant communication of project updates and changes is automated to everyone attached to a project. The ability to coordinate a bridge to/ from each of our organization’s individual websites sets us apart from our competitors and relieves contractors from having to remember different URL’s and passwords.

Projects are posted for 60 days with the option to extend. After projects have bid, we provide an archive of that project’s documents on a CD with a backup on our premises. The retention life of a CD is an average of 120 years, which is almost twice as long as paper copies. This ensures that documents retain their readability for future concerns.
